If not, this project can be the beginning of a new era of colonization of Africa, in cyberspace, or that Africa becomes marginalized as never before. Here in Norway, the conservative government has just launched a 5-years plan for becoming independent of Microsoft, and the open source is gaining ground in Europe and Asia. Do the African leaders go for the proprietary model of software?
