Trusted computing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trusted computing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Trusted computing is a term coined by the TCPA referring to the goal of their family of open specifications to make computers more secure through the use of dedicated hardware. Critics, including academics, security experts, and users of free and open source software, contend, however, that the overall effect (and perhaps intent) of trusted computing is to impose unreasonable restrictions on how people can use their computers."

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! Microsoft Vista is using this now. This is a lock-in like "Terminator seeds".
